Now (as October 2005) I'm using **Debian GNU/Linux Testing //Etch//** distribution, with kernel 2.6.8.

I do not want a graphical login on this notebook, just execute ''startx'' if I need X. So I commented out from the line from ''**/etc/X11/xdm/Xservers**'':
